Food and drink firms at festivals – in pictures
Business of all sizes have slummed it at festivals over the summer so far and look to set to continue.
These include big business such Thatchers Cider, PepsiMax and Unilever that can sponsor festivals to smaller firms such as popcorn brand Joe & Seph’s which trade at the music events.
Drive up sales
Festival food was once notoriously awash with dodgy burger vans, but a growing trend for street food has led more and more food and drink businesses to take their food to these events in a bid to drive up retail sales.
Last year posh ready meal manufacturer Charlie Bigham’s and gluten free bakery business Genius Foods both used festivals as an opportunity to engage with thousands of potentially new customers in one weekend.
